Last Day At The Fair
Caught this image a few years back on the closing day of the county fair.
After The Storm
Downpour after downpour the lily stands resilient, clinging to its one day in bloom.
Under The Pier
Beneath the famed pier in Old Orchard Beach Maine at low tide a few years back. I miss everything about this place.
Mist On The Water
Evening mist rolls in over the Hudson. I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to swoop up my camera and capture this haunting image.
Storm Break
Taking cover under some trees as the sun splits through the clouds of a passing storm.
Of Light and Water
A fusion of wind, water, and light: a recipe for an interesting abstract photograph.
Delirium
One of my first attempts at abstraction. Very little post processing here. Most of this effect was created using long exposure and slight movement.
Going Coastal
Something as simple as a reflection in the right light can make an interesting abstract image.
Wanderings
The Hudson Pointe Nature preserve is a favorite walking trail of mine near my home in upstate New York. In early spring it’s not uncommon for this bridge to become fully submerged due to snowmelt running down from the high peaks of Mount Marcy where the Hudson begins.
Hang Strong
My first foray into the world of macro: Exhibit A.
Beautiful Abandonment
Found this walking through an abandoned theme park in the Adirondacks one October day. The park, in the village of North Hudson, was once known as Frontier Town. Today, it has been converted to a campground. I don’t know if this structure still remains.
